Deepsilk is developed for those who want a pillowcase that actively supports the skin and hair during rest. This specially engineered cosmetic silk fabric differs from regular silk because it is enriched with sericin — a natural protein found in raw silk. The aim is to help support the skin and hair’s moisture balance throughout the night while providing a smooth, calm surface against the skin. The pillowcase (60x63 cm) is made from 25-momme charmeuse-woven 6A mulberry silk.

Sericin is released on contact through microscopic micelles and may help support moisture balance in both skin and hair. Sericin also has antibacterial properties. Deepsilk has been laboratory-tested, and its unique benefits remain effective for more than 20 washes — after which the pillowcase remains soft and beautiful. The silk contains no dyes or silicone treatments, preserving the material’s pure structure and natural softness. The smooth charmeuse surface reduces friction against the face and hair, which may help minimise marks, tangling and nightly irritation. The silk is breathable, temperature-regulating and hypoallergenic, making it a comforting option for delicate or sensitive skin.
